Method

  1. Remove the Opéra from the refrigerator 15 minutes before cutting.
  2. If not using a kitchen torch to warm the knife blade, bring a saucepan of water to a boil.
  3. Dampen a warm dishcloth to wipe the knife blade clean when cutting.
  4. Heat the knife blade using the kitchen torch, or dip it in the hot water, then wipe dry.</
