  • 2 whole mackerel, about 400 g/14 oz each, filleted

Method

Score the filleted mackerel slightly so that the marinade can really penetrate the flesh and put them in a small dish. Add all the remaining ingredients except for the lime, cover with cling film and leave to marinate for 1 hour in the fridge.

Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/gas 4
