I did the blowtorch thing, and served it with vanilla ice cream. The end result had every member of my extended family squabbling over who would get seconds —another brilliant recipe from one of Daniel Galmiche's cookbooks. What truly amazes me is that, to date, every recipe that I've tried from one of Daniel's books has worked first time, which really isn't how these things normally turn out, for me anyway… (Hope I haven't jinxed it now!)
