The best grilled calves’ liver I have ever eaten was cooked by my friend Anne Taylor at her Sydney restaurant, Taylor’s, which sadly closed in the late 1990s when she and her partner chose to retire. I believe I enjoyed this deceptively simple dish at least 20 times and it was always remarkable.
