  • 125 ml/4 fl oz/½ cup balsamic vinegar

Method

  1. Pour the vinegar into a small sauté or frying pan (skillet), put over a medium heat and bring to a gentle simmer.
  2. Turn the heat down to low heat and cook for 10 minutes until the liquid has reduced by half and is thickened and syrupy.
