Pan-fried plums are always tasty, with their touch of acidity and lovely, delicate texture, so I thought a biscuit (cookie) would be good with them – and a biscotti seemed just the right choice. It’s unusual, perhaps not often baked at home, and the almonds give it a good nutty crunch. For a change, try serving the dish with some silky Greek-style yogurt with a sprinkling of cinnamon.
