I love powidła because I am not a fan of super-sweet jams. Powidła is always made with plums, usually without additional sweeteners. Fine powidła requires a bit of careful cooking, but I think the work is worth it to achieve the necessary sweetness and consistency. The small amount of cinnamon and orange in this recipe make these plums even more delectable.
