This recipe is an ode to buckwheat. The flavor is extremely nutty and smells divine. Popped buckwheat is not light like classic popcorn, but the crunchiness presents an opportunity to use it as a topping. I love to garnish my Gołąbki z ziemniakami i kaszą (Potato-Buckwheat Gołąbki with Tomato-Vodka Sauce) with it.
