There’s something really comforting about homemade meatballs and pasta. This is one of my family’s favourite meals and I hope it becomes one of yours, too.

Ingredients

  • 500 g minced beef
  • 1 shallot, finely diced
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C Fan/Gas Mark 6.
  2. Start by making the meatballs. Put the minced beef, shallot, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg and dried herbs in a bowl and mix well with your hands. Form the mixture into 12 meatballs.
