The watermelon and pineapple slushies are such a simple but fun way to serve healthy drinks at a kids’ party.

Ingredients

  • 1 large watermelon (seedless if possible)
  • 2 limes
  • 1 large bag of ice cubes

Method

  1. Chop the top off the watermelon and scoop out all the flesh. I find using an ice cream scoop is the easiest way to do this.
  2. Put the seedless watermelon flesh in a blender with the juice of the 2 limes and a large handful of ice cubes. Blitz until smooth, then pour the mixture back into the watermelon. Leave any extra aside in a jug.
  3. Quickly rinse out
