  • About

You might think your kids will hate anything strongly flavoured or spicy but give this sweet chilli sauce a go and they might surprise you. It’s quite mild and great served as a dipping sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 red peppers, halved, deseeded and chopped
  • ½ red chilli, deseeded and finely diced
  • 2 tbsp whit

Method

  1. Put the red pepper, chilli, white wine vinegar, honey, garlic and water in a small saucepan and bring to the boil over a medium heat, then reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Take a little of the liquid out of the saucepan and add it to a cup with the cornflour. Mix well until the cornflour has dissolved, then stir the cornflour into the sauce.
