Method

  1. To make the falia birzit, heat the oil in a frying pan and sweat the onion until translucent. Add the garlic and cook for 2–3 minutes more. Add the tomatoes with their liquid, bring to a simmer and cook gently for about 10 minutes. Stir in the chopped coriander and mint, with a few drops of lemon juice and salt to taste.
