  • About

This is an increasingly popular drink, particularly served as a digestif after a meal.

Ingredients

  • small handful of fresh mint leaves
  • boiling water
  • 1 good-quality tea bag, such as English breakfast (optional)
  • <

Method

  1. Put the mint leaves in a tall heatproof glass, pour in boiling water and leave to infuse for about 5 minutes. For more colour and added whoomph, dip the tea bag in just after adding the boiling water (you can use the same tea bag for several glasses).
  2. Stir in the sugar, or more or less to taste, and serve.
