German Marble Cake

This fluffy vanilla-and-chocolate marble cake, enhanced with hints of rum and lemon, and finished with a luxurious chocolate glaze, was my twin sister and my most favorite birthday cake when we were growing up. We’d go wild decorating it with sprinkles, chocolate candies, and gummy bears. But it’s just as perfect without all the extras. Enjoy it fresh out of the oven, simply dusted with some powdered sugar, or covered in a rich dark chocolate glaze, which helps lock in moisture. The quality
