Method

Scald 3 glasses, or ¼ garnets, flour with 3 glasses of boiling milk, mix until smooth, cover, and let stand for 1 hour. Pour in about glasses warm milk, ½ glass each thick yeast and sugar, and a little flour. Mix and let rise. Beat the dough thoroughly with a spatula, pour in glasses butter, and sprinkle on enough flour to make a rather thick dough. After it has risen, shape the dough into buns, and transfer them to a baking sheet. When they have risen, place in a hot oven. (1 garnets flour.)
