Method

Bake 2–3 onions, peel, finely chop, and fry slightly in 2 spoons sunflower seed or nut oil. Stir in 2 spoons flour, fry, and dilute with glasses fish bouillon. Add vinegar, lemon or gooseberry juice, or apple soy, and 2–4 pieces sugar to give the sauce a pleasant sour-sweet flavor. Boil thoroughly, strain, pour some sauce over the fish, and serve the rest in a sauceboat.
