Soak 1 Dutch herring, remove the bones, and finely chop with 1 onion. Mix 2–3 spoons oil with 1 spoon fried flour and the herring and onion. Fry the fish mixture, pour in glasses fish bouillon and a little lemon juice, and bring to a boil. Strain and pour over boiled potatoes, potato patties, etc.
