Mix ½ glass flour with 2–3 spoons oil, dilute with 3 glasses fish bouillon, and boil thoroughly, constantly stirring, until the sauce thickens. Strain and add salt, 2–3 lemon slices or 2 spoons marinated gooseberries, and ¼ nutmeg or ¼ small spoon mace. Bring to a boil and pour over boiled pike, zander, or any other large fish.
