A very nice and easy dressing, which you can add mustard, herbs or garlic to if you want to change it up. Honeygar is wonderful stuff: a mix of cider vinegar and honey. If you don’t have any, just mix together 100ml cider or white wine vinegar and a tablespoon of honey.

Ingredients

  • 100 ml honeygar
  • 200 ml olive oil

Method

  1. Put the honeygar and olive oil in a jar with a generous pinch of salt and plenty of freshly ground black pepper and shake, or whisk them together in a bowl.
  2. Taste and add a teaspoon of honey if you like it sweeter. Keep any excess in a sealed jar in the fridge.
