Beef Stovies

When we serve stovies we are always astonished at how popular they are. Stovies are a classic Scottish dish that everyone makes differently depending on who they learnt it from, but this is how we do it. It’s very flexible according to what you have on hand and is a great dish for a crowd as it doubles or triples up so easily, and you can bulk it out by upping the amount of potatoes. These are delicious served with our Gloagburn Oatcakes.
