  • About

This is a real family favourite. Easy to eat and comforting, it makes good use of our wonderful Scottish seafood. Use any mix of fish that you like – I always include a bit of smoked haddock as it gives the pie such a delicious flavour, and if I’m using prawns I leave them whole.

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 500 g mixed fish (smoked haddock, salmon, cod, halibut, prawns), cut into 3c

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan/gas mark 4.
  2. Boil the eggs for 8 minutes, then shell them under a running cold tap and cut into quarters.
  3. Place the fish, milk and water into a heavy-bottomed pan and bring it up to a boil over a medium heat
