These zesty little puddings go on the menu every New Year when Seville oranges are in season and a warming pudding is required to get us through the dark winter days. Serve with plenty of custard.

Ingredients

  • 1 Seville orange, cut into 3–5mm slices
  • 75 g fine brown breadcrumbs
  • 15 g

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 150°C/130°C fan/gas mark 3. Butter the pudding basins well and put a slice of orange in the bottom of each one.
