  • About

With a combination of fresh basil, tomato, and mozzarella, this salad-on-a-stick is a little piece of summer. Even young palates can enjoy the colorful, classic salad.

Ingredients

  • 1 pint (about 25) cherry-size fresh mozzarella balls (sometimes called bocconcini)
  • Leaves from 1 bunch

Method

  1. Skewer one piece of mozzarella on a small bamboo skewer, then one basil leaf, and finally one cherry tomato. Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make 25 skewers and place them on a platter.
  2. Drizzle the skewers with vinegar and olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
