These chicken skewers are easy to make, flavorful, and moist. The yogurt in the marinade serves two purposes: It is a natural tenderizer and also adds deeper flavors to the tender chicken. Try pairing the chicken skewers with grilled vegetables, such as peppers, onions, and mushrooms, as we did in the photographed version.

Ingredients

Marinade

  • ¼ cup (60 g) plain yogurt
  • Juice of ½ lemon

Method

  1. Combine all of the marinade ingredients in a large bowl. Add the chicken and toss to coat. Cover the bowl and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or up to 24.
  2. Preheat a grill.
  3. Skewer the chicken cubes onto bamboo or metal skewer
