Boquerónes are made with anchovies, but I’ve chosen to replace them with sardines, as many fishmongers do not keep fresh anchovies. Lifted from a plate with a toothpick and eaten in the sunshine, this delicious snack makes me feel like I’m on holiday. If the weather is bad, rub some sun cream under your nose purely for that vacation smell.
