Limp - but with a crunch - and tumbled with thick mayonnaise, this is one of the few ways I really enjoy white cabbage. Good coleslaw is a far cry from the fast-food side order in a stumpy styrofoam cup. It’s the kind of thing I veer towards on a Sunday or Monday night. A heavily buttered potato is the best vehicle: a cart piled high with loose hay.
