  • About

I eat literally tonnes of these a year. They are a great accompaniment to white fish, ducks, pigeon, lamb and venison. When meat is not in the house, they are a wonderful substitute, and properly fill you up, especially with a fried egg on top, when you are really pinching the pennies. They are a thoroughly good friend. Split peas might take a while to cook, but I’m sure you have other things to be getting on with. Having said that, I will never learn and frequently scurry into the kitchen
