The tempting smell of duck cooking in the oven always demands that I quell my Pavlovian urges with a duck-related snack that delivers almost instant gratification. Duck livers are rich and delicious, but hard to come by on their own, so I’ve also made this recipe with chicken livers, which can be found with ease. This snack is delicious somewhere around 6.00pm, accompanied with a good glass of white wine before dinner.
