Dundee cake

A heavy slice of Dundee cake is an exceptional comrade when you’re out in the field or on a long walk in the cold. However, I never seem to get it right as I either show no resolve and eat my ration far too early in the day, or happily rediscover it all clingfilm-bound and squidged up in my coat pocket two months later. Delicious with hard British cheeses, such as Lancashire.
