About

The Colony Room was a notorious drinking club, a melting pot of creativity and booze that is sadly no more. A place to chat with strangers as much as friends, it was full of artists, musicians, odd bods and the outspoken, a hub in London’s smoky lung that is Soho.

In my brief membership, Dick was the barman towards the end and this was the drink he normally made me, and I rarely deviated. This is his recipe in his own words, as he texted them.
