Eating lasagne reminds me of growing up, as my mum always had it on the menu at our pub and I loved the rich, meaty sauce she made with the creamy béchamel. I usually precook my lasagne sheets but some just need rinsing in boiling water before assembling the lasagne, so check the instructions on the packet. I find they sometimes need a bit more liquid in the sauce, in which case, add a little stock or water.
