This harkens to a recipe I remember my mom making for virtually every party my folks hosted at our house when I was a kid. Granted, the original recipe called for oleo and “one small glass of sharp Cheddar cheese.” I’d probably still love that version today, but I have updated it nonetheless; it remains a tribute to the memory of my mother.
