  • 500 g (1 lb) crown prince squash, butternut squash or another hard-skinned squash, peeled, seeded and cut into 2cm (¾in) cubes


  1. Prepare the squash and set aside.
  2. Heat the oil and soften the onion in a large pan and then stir in the garlic and berbere for 2 minutes.
