  • 500 g (1 lb) new potatoes
  • 8 tbsp sunflower oil<


  1. Parboil the new potatoes.
  2. Prepare the masala by combining all the ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  3. In a frying pan heat ½ tbsp sunflower oil. Add the masala and toast the mix to bring out the flavours, stirring constantly for 5 minutes until it is more yellow in colour, then take off the heat.
