All the flavour of a BLT sandwich in the form of a salad, so you can feel more virtuous eating it. The combination of sweet, juicy tomatoes, crisp lettuce leaves, chewy bread croutons, crunchy, salty bacon and creamy mayo will make your tastebuds tingle.

Ingredients

For the salad

  • 2 slices of white sourdough bread
  • 2 tbsp garlic-infused olive oil
  • 2 lit

Method

  1. To make the croutons, tear the bread into chunks and fry them in the garlic-infused olive oil over a high heat for 5 minutes.
  2. Add all the salad ingredients, including the croutons, to a large bowl and toss to combine.
  3. To make the dressing, whisk the olive oil, vinegar and pepper together in a small bowl and drizzle onto the salad. Add a few dollops of
