A rustic cake with warm, spiced chunks of apple and a sweet crunchy topping. Wonderful served with a dollop of vegan Clotted Cream or Easy Custard.

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C fan/180°C/350°F/gas 4 and grease a 20cm/8in round cake tin with butter.
  2. Sift the flour into a large bowl and stir in the baking powder, spices and sugar. Rub in the butter with your fingers until the mixture res
