It only takes ten minutes and four ingredients to make this warm, sweet custard to serve with your dessert. It's so simple and so good.

Ingredients

  • 750 ml/26 fl oz ( cups) unsweetened dairy-free milk

Method

  1. Put the milk in a medium saucepan over a medium heat. Add the cornflour and sugar and whisk together. Continue cooking for about 10 minutes until thickened and smooth, whisking regularly.
  2. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Serve warm.
