Use this master recipe for grill-roasted chicken as a point of departure. Although the recipe will give you near-perfect results, it has not been built with flavor in mind. Feel free to use it as a template, but add flavor with one of the rubs, brines, marinades, or sauces from Chapter 11 if you want to use it for dinner.
