In a large frying pan, heat the oil until shimmering. Add the garlic and salt. Remove from the heat and let sit for 10 minutes. Add the bread crumbs and stir to coat. Return to medium-low heat and toast the bread crumbs until golden brown and fragrant, about 3 minutes. Cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
