Creamy fior di latte ice cream with flakes of crunchy chocolate. Stracciatella ice cream is one of the most popular and most-loved Italian ice cream flavours. I believe that this recipe is so good that you don’t need anything else to accompany it!

Ingredients

  • 400 ml milk
  • 150 g sugar
  • 350 ml

Method

Bring the milk and sugar to the boil and let it cool down.

Once cold, stir in the slightly whipped cream and pour the mixture in the ice cream maker.

While the ice cream is in the machine melt the chocolate in a bain-marie and after 20 minutes, when the ice cream is almost ready, pour in the chocolate.
