Hot chocolate was a constant in our house when I was growing up. Sometimes we mixed our cocoa powder with milk, and other times we whisked hot milk into melted chocolate. Both were equally delicious but made for decidedly different drinking experiences. This scone recipe uses our hot chocolate mix, which is made of both cocoa powder and chocolate flakes, contributing a distinct fudgy texture.
