When this brownie first appeared on my desk, its gloriously dense texture and rich chocolate color called out to me. It was love at first bite. We made a few tweaks to the recipe (we dialed back the butter, which you’d never guess if I hadn’t told you), and voilà, you’ve got the best darn brownie recipe at your fingertips. Don’t forget to lick the bowl and the spoon.
