Salted caramel is kind of an overachiever. And I say that with love. Why? Because it’s good at pretty much everything. It’s good at salt. It’s good at sweet. It’s good at chewy. It’s great as a confection, an ice cream flavor, a sauce for ice cream, and even a filling. Here we’re calling it a topping, but you can try this as a layer in Jim’s Special Fudge or fill cupcakes with it.
