Tuna is a chef’s friend and this dish is simple. It’s a great one to have up your sleeve if you’ve got a patient who missed a meal because of surgery or nil by mouth. The sauce can be prepared in the time it takes to cook the pasta, which suits out of hours cooking.

This is a simple dish to create in a hospital kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 400 g Tuna Chunks in Sunflower Oil
  • 700 g Pasta
  • 150 g

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in a pan of boiling salted water according to the packet instructions.
  2. Meanwhile, place a large non-stick frying pan on a medium-high heat with the olive oil. Add the capers, fry until super-crispy, then scoop out and put aside, leaving the fragrant oil behind.
  3. Halve and add the tomatoes, then sprinkle in
