  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • ½ cup onion (sliced thin)
  • 2 apples

Method

Prepare ingredients as directed. In a medium stock pot add the oil and heat to medium. Add the onions and apples and sauté for 2 minutes. Add all remaining ingredients except the butter and caraway. Cover the pot for 10–15 minutes and heat until the cabbage is crisp but tender. Remove from heat and add the butter and caraway seeds. Note: In other recipes, this dish is often cooked for a longer
