I also could have called this recipe “fish pie,” but I didn’t. I love fish pie, but I also love tartiflette, which is almost the same, but is very French and made with bacon instead of fish and with lots and lots of Reblochon, a delicious French cheese from the Alps. If you’ve ever been skiing there, you probably know the meal.
