Rice pudding can be a deliciously filling dessert and this one is no different. The rich ingredients used here make for a splendid treat not to be missed.
For the prunes, put the sugar, water and Armagnac into a saucepan over a low heat and bring to the boil. Place the prunes in a bowl and pour over the boiling liquid. Cover with clingfilm and leave to cool for at least an hour, preferably overnight.
