This is the cake my mum used to make whenever guests were looming. It’s ideal for a birthday party as well as a great family treat.
Line a 20cm by 12cm by 2cm baking tray with parchment paper.
Crush the biscuits with a rolling pin. Beat the eggs in a small bowl. Sift the cocoa powder into another small bowl. Roughly chop the glacé cherries.
