Even at barbecues there always needs to be something on offer to satisfy my sweet tooth, and these hot bananas do the trick! They cook in under fifteen minutes, stay hot and ready to eat for a while, and can be made with a slug of good rum for the adults - or without for a more child-friendly version.

Preparation

Cut 8 sheets each of foil and parchment paper measuring 20cm by 10cm. Peel the bananas. Grate the palm sugar.
