  • About

This is a great flavoured sugar to keep in the storecupboard. As well as dusting it on doughnuts, I also sprinkle it on muffins, add it to custard and serve with apple tart - and I also freely admit to trying it on my cornflakes!

Ingredients

  • 1 unwaxed orange
  • 1 unwaxed lime
  • 1 unwaxed lemon
  • 200

Method

  1. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper. Preheat the oven on its lowest setting (50°C fan if possible).
  2. Peel the zest from the orange, lime and lemon, taking care to remove only the coloured part of the peel and not the bitter white pith
